This policy applies when students, parents or guardians use our website, create or manage a student account, attend classes, make a payment, submit a payment slip or contact us.

• Account and service information, including the Student ID, account status, lesson access, attendance and educational activity.

Card or online-payment credentials are entered into the payment provider's checkout service. Ganitha Gura does not request that students send card passwords, PINs or one-time passwords to us.

4. Payments and service providers

Online payments may be processed by PayHere or another payment provider displayed at checkout. Payment providers process information under their own privacy practices. Ganitha Gura receives the payment result and transaction details needed to confirm the purchase; lesson access is granted only after a verified successful online payment or teacher verification of a bank payment.

The LMS uses service providers, including hosting, Firebase authentication, database and file-storage services, to operate the website securely. Information is shared with these providers only as reasonably needed to provide the service, process payments, maintain records or comply with law.

5. Children and student accounts

Many Ganitha Gura users are school students. A parent or guardian should assist a child where appropriate, provide accurate contact information and supervise account and payment activity. Please contact us if information about a child needs correction or review.

6. Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect account, lesson and payment information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users must keep passwords and login details private.

Records are retained for as long as reasonably required to provide educational access, maintain payment and attendance history, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and satisfy applicable legal or accounting requirements. Information that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
